As the result of a generous new gift, Indigo International’s educational branch, Pleiadian Institute is launching Y-Lab, a 21st century online research & business development social innovation incubator space for holistic health professionals.

Social Innovation in Holistic Health

The Y-Lab will integrate with entrepreneurship and social innovation curriculum inside of the school’s Transcendent Business Practicum. Inside of the Y-Lab students will experience a series of practicums and practice rapid sustainable implementation of business strategies. The curriculum inspires students to apply an entrepreneurial mindset effect strategic social change through holistic healthcare treatments and services. All students are assigned a mentor as they participate in the practicums inside of the Y-Lab. Inspired by Walden University’s vision for Social Change, the Y-Lab will be the home base for the next generation of leaders who are equipped and ready to design and execute innovative solutions in holistic healthcare. The lab is scheduled to have several live opportunities throughout the year for students to come together in person to connect, brainstorm, research and design. All students in Certification courses at Pleiadian Institute will be eligible to participate in the Y Lab programs.

Scholarships for Change

A $140,000 gift for scholarship support was donated to Pleiadian Institute earlier this month. Pleiadian Institute has set a goal of raising $1 million in new scholarship funding. This gift brings the school’s total to over $300,000 raised to support student tuition. The fundraising initiative is part of Indigo International’s ‘radical inclusion’ plan. The purpose of this initiative is to further strengthen the student body by enrolling diverse international highly qualified students in the United States, Canada, England, Scotland, Ireland, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Mexico, India, Singapore, Japan and Australia. Currently, 75% of students receive financial aid, and the current campaign will increase the percentage.  Indigo International built Pleiadian Institute in 2011. It has been our vision and mission to build career training online for holistic health professionals. We could not do it without our investors and donors. It’s affirming for us to have envisioned this amazing space and then manifested the means to create it so quickly!

These generous gifts were donated to INDIGO EDUCATION FOUNDATION, a new branch of Indigo International dedicated to funding Holistic Health education worldwide.
