Indigo International is a holistic health organization of individuals who agree to a common code of ethics of mindfulness, love, joy, integrity, prayer rest and renewal.

These ethical principles are meant to stimulate health and personal and professional growth.  They can be integrated into any religious belief system and are meant to strengthen and support every aspect of your experience as a spiritual being having a human experience. We seek to create virtual and physical communities of Love working together to serve humanity.  As we each embrace these ethical principles in our hearts, one by one we are beginning to energetically shift the energy of the planet, to one of love, peace and harmony.

We share here with you the ethical principles that guide us. We encourage you to take these principles into your own heart & to rise into your highest self!

Mindfulness is a daily practice that involves witnessing, moment-by-moment thoughts, feelings, actions, and surrounding environment.

Greater Good of Berkeley describes the practice beautifully,

¨In each moment we practice acceptance, meaning that we pay attention to our thoughts and feelings without judging them—without believing, for instance, that there’s a “right” or “wrong” way to think or feel in a given moment. When we practice mindfulness, our thoughts tune into what we’re sensing in the present moment rather than rehashing the past or imagining the future.¨

Transcendent Love

To live with transcendent love is to do ordinary things with extraordinary love. Our vision as a community is to transform your own family into a sanctuary of love through prayer, dialogue, sharing and service. Cultivate loving daily routines, and remember that you need to first love yourself and have compassion for yourself so that you can expand your reach of love and compassion to your family, friends and ever widening circle of acquaintances.

One of the most effective ways to allowing love is through practicing radical forgiveness. We are human. Therefore, we must practice compassion for our weaknesses and failures daily. When we strive for perfection, it forces out hearts to open wider than before, as we learn to love ourselves through mistakes and hardship. Start to forgive yourself daily for anything you feel guilty about not doing or having accomplished.

“God, Teach me to allow love to enter my entire being. Allow love to become a living flame within me so that my love warms the hearts of all others.” Marianne Williamson

To be joyful is to love to do what you do every minute of every day.

What brings you joy? Fill your days with it.

Joyfully give material help as your means allow and comfort to those in need. This should be done through a free and joyous choice to live a simpler life, content with the basic necessities of life, desiring less rather than more. Then all divine surplus in your life in the form of time, intentional service, or material gifts can be given freely and with the purpose of bringing light into the lives of those most in need.

“God, Teach me to allow joy to penetrate and possess my entire being so completely that my life may be a shining example of joy to others.” Marianne Williamson

“Joy in looking and comprehending is nature’s most beautiful gift.”Albert Einstein

We are all one. We are all seeking to be one. We are all perfect and innocent in truth, and part of one human family. Kinship is the practice of being one with the other; of being lovingly attentive. It is the practice of reminding those you encounter of their greatness and of the light within. The practice of being with others and reflecting on all that is loving truth.

Treat the things that people tell you like they were sharing their hearts with your God-self. In this way, always use the interactions you have with others to serve their highest good.

‘For the measure of our compassion lies not in our service of those on the margins, but in our willingness to see ourselves in kinship with them, in mutuality.’ Gregory Boyle

Be honest, fair and respect each person you meet. Clarify your role and function.

Do what you say you are going to do. Never stop learning.

“Real integrity is doing the right thing, knowing that nobody’s going to know whether you did it or not.” Oprah Winfrey

“Never become so much of an expert that you stop gaining expertise. View life as a continuous learning experience.” Denis Waitley

Prayer and Affirmation

Prayer is a daily conversation with your Creator. Prayer is a tool that can help you manifest your life. Pray for your dreams. Pray for God to enter the cells of your body to bring about perfect health and wellbeing.

Daily Affirmations are statements that affirm what you want to be in your life. Speaking daily about what you want as if it was already here is one of the most effective ways to live the life of your dreams.

Affirm daily, ‘I am healthy, strong, wealthy and wise. Every day I get better at my life!’

Rest & Renewal

Regular rest and renewal is the foundation of wellness, clarity and peace.

“Nature often holds up a mirror so we can see more clearly the ongoing processes of growth, renewal, and transformation in our lives. Beauty is eternity gazing at itself in a mirror. But you are eternity and you are the mirror.” Kahlil Gibran

“See how nature – trees, flowers, grass – grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence…we need silence to be able to touch souls.” Mother Theresa
